SOMEC in the closing of 60%-purchase of the BLUESTEEL capital

Oscar Marchetto and Roberto Savian completed SOMEC acquisition of 60% of the share capital of Bluesteel Srl, a company founded in 2001 in the Treviso area and specialized in the construction and installation of engineered systems of building façade and naval architectures systems and fixtures, with about 80% of turnover generated in Great Britain, Switzerland and Denmark, among others.

BLUESTEEL banks on innovative IP and eco-sustainable and LEED certified solutions contributing to sustainability in the building industry.

The purchase carries on SOMEC strategy in consolidating its segment in engineered systems of building façade and naval architectures.

The growing demand in refitting projects for energy saving sustainability, and better cost efficiency will allow further development of the division in the European market, on the back of the FABBRICA success in the U.S.

SOMEC will be counting on the experience of Roberto Savian, Bluesteel founder, who will remain a Board member and CEO of the company until 31 December 2025.
