SOMEC gruppo strengthens its presence in the United States

 SOMEC gruppo strengthens its U.S. presence with three operations: the company raises its stake to 70.9% of Fabbrica LLC and establishes two Newcos, Pizza Group USA LLC and Mestieri USA INC.

On 13 April 2022, SOMEC group finalized the acquisition of an additional 20% of the share capital of its US subsidiary FABBRICA USA LLC. The transaction has been carried out through the company’s direct subsidiary 3.0 Partners USA Inc., following up on the disclosure to the market on 3 January 2022. SOMEC has thus raised its indirect controlling interest in FABBRICA USA from the current 50.9% to 70.9%.

SOMEC has also incorporated the companies PIZZA GROUP USA LLC and MESTIERI USA INC. as the US subsidiaries of its Italian group companies.

The first of these Newcos is intended to strengthen the US presence of Pizza Group S.r.l., a company based in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN), active in the design, production and sale of machinery, ovens and equipment for pizzerias.

The second Newco marks the first stage of group’s plans to expand the business in the design and creation of high-end interiors in the United States, following the establishment in Italy of Mestieri S.r.l.. Founded with the aim of realizing turnkey, high-end interiors projects, aimed at growth sectors, such as high-end residential, retail and luxury hospitality, in both the civil and naval segments, MESTIERI will safeguard the expertise of Made in Italy craftsmanship, which has always been sought-after overseas.
