Record naval refitting orders

SOMEC group fully- owned cos. SINTESI and NAVALTECH have won a series of cruise liners’ refit projects by one of the world’s largest shipowners. The contracts, worth a total value of €22.1mn, represent the highest awarded amount to SG in its twenty years of refitting business.

In greater detail, the two companies will contribute to the total contemporary and sustainable renovation of 7 cruise ships already in use, leveraging their distinctive know-how in the refitting sector and the synergies deriving from belonging to the Somec Group, which in the past has collaborated in the construction of all the ships currently undergoing modernization.
