New, significant order for BLUESTEEL.

The International Finance Center (IFC) of Jersey (Channel Islands) entrusts BLUESTEEL with an €8m-project for the façades and fixtures of one of its recently renovated buildings.

Located in the heart of the business district of St. Helier, the main centre of the island and the financial hub of the British Bailiwick of Jersey, the project is driven by sustainability and involves the construction of 6,000 sq. mts. of office space, developing over five floors. The building will be joined to the city centre by pedestrian and bicycle links, demonstrating the attention to the sustainability of the development.

For BLUESTEEL, a new entry in the SOMEC group, this is the most valuable project in its more than twenty-year history, more than 3,000 square meters of facades and cladding elements and windows.

For SOMEC this is a positive indicator after the recent acquisition of BLUESTEEL, for the will of the Italian construction quality group to invest in the European facade market, which is growing in the wake of the energy requalification of public and private buildings, driven by funds from National post-pandemic PNRRs.

The project delivery is expected by April 2023.
