Eight new contracts for MESTIERI worth €33mn

Mestieri, the group’s division operating in high-end interiors, was assigned eight contracts with aprox. €33mn.

 The contracts pertain projects by high-end brands and cover different end markets, in luxury retail, onboard interiors, museum display elements and in private residential. With regard to the latter sector, Mestieri is involved in a project of great value and prestige on the east coast of the United States. In detail Mestieri, with the contribution of other group companies, will be responsible for the creation and installation of interior fit out and marble and wood flooring in a Miami Beach private villa. 

 Oscar Marchetto, Chairman of the Somec Group, noted: “These contracts fill the entire Group with pride and bear out the growing business opportunities in the high-end interiors of the Mestieri division, especially in the United States where the Group has won more than half of the new contracts in terms of value. In addition, our presence in the US private residential market and a further project for a European museum build on significant growth opportunities for the entire Group. We therefore aim to strengthen our leadership as we are driven by the desire to have Italy’s refined craftsmanship known worldwide”.
